Ladder Hanger on Bot

Per Quiet, approx 20% of picks are high picks requiring a 3-step ladder to reach. High picks may increase to 40% of picks during peak. Pickers spend significant time searching for ladders. Hanging a ladder on the bot would save time (and also currently supported by competior 6 River used at a Quiet site).

Key req'ts for hanging ladder

• Provide quick & easy method to “securely” attach the top and middle/bottom, so bottom of ladder does not swing out when bot makes quick turn/rotation

  • One concept that has been mentioned is to use Velcro or a similar method to securely attach the ladder to the mast

• Hanger accessory must not present potential safety hazard to employees (avoid sharp edges, pinch points)

• Ladder must be positioned so it does not block sensors, cameras, e-Stop, etc.

• Ladder must "not" restrict access to e-Stop on top mast
