DHL - L'Oreal has seen substantially higher pick error rates since Locus go-live in December 2020. The customer is asking if we can change from pure numbered locations to alpha-numeric like would be seen in the warehouse (XY information).
Shipmonk - Per Steve Simmerman, Shipmonk has similar request due to issue with pickers sometimes getting confused between Pick Qty and Position #. For example with Pick Qty = 1 and Position = 3, the picker mistakenly places the item in Position 1 (same values as pick qty) instead of Position 3. Steve suggested using similar nomenclature as used for a bin position on racking where a letter or number indicates shelf vertical level (suggest starting from the bottom) and a number indicats bin horizontal position from left to right.
