Enable Tote Type to be Assigned "Batch Singles" OR "Large Multis Discrete Order" (but not mixed)

I communicated to Northbay that they need separate tote type with unique prefix for each order type “singles” vs “large multies”. I understand that our system requires this to know which order to assign to which tote. The request is why can't a tote and a tote id service 2 order types. Our system knows which order type would be better to pick through prioritization and optimization so why cant it make the decision if that order is a “singles” or a “large multies”. Per customer, requiring 2 different tote types and labeling for Locus will require additional totes and labeling.
