Visual Indicator on Bot for High Pick Requiring Step Stool

Problem: An associate does not know an item is a high pick until after he/she sees where the item bin location displayed on the bot UI is physically located. For a high pick, the associate then needs to search for a step stool or ladder before he/she can reach the item to be picked, which wastes time.

Proposal: Provide a visual indicator the bot when there is a high pick. The assumption is that WMS would send a “High Pick Flag” for an item on the OrderJob sent to Locus if the bin location for that line item is considered a high pick. The visual indicator could be displayed on the bot UI and/or could be a different bot LED color or pattern (e.g., flashing). The LED option could be viewed from some distance away so an associate knows to grab a step stool on the way to the bot.
