This is a precursor to robots being aware of their configuration. Currently, we cannot blend tray sizes or robot form factors onsite. The issue will come about when we try to blend R1.5 and R2 bots at sites (R2 should technically be more compact) and even more so when WayPoint bots are looped in.

Currently, we cannot blend tray sizes or robot form factors onsite. When we move to integration of Waypoint bots with ours this will be required but there are additional instances where individually configuring a specific bot radius would be useful for managing varying tray sizes. Not being able to config bot radius leads clients to have to configure for the largest radius size which is most often not efficient or appropriate based on site layout. |
