Request for using standard tote and implementing dividers Merged

Customer: ASDA George clothing

Channel: e-commerce

Picking around 1,000 orders per hour over 2 mezzanine floors

12% of volume (36% of orders) are to be single item orders and so can be batch picked

Current picking is done into 60x40x32 totes:

We can get 2 totes on our standard shelf array shown below which is fine for the batch picking of singles however it means we can only pick 2 orders on a mission when discrete picking the multi item/line orders.

The request is to be able to install a divider in the tote shown above and then have a single bar code on the tote.

Scanning the barcode will tell the bot there are two picking locations in the tote and assign the 2 necessary jobs to the “tote array”

You should then be able to scan an additional tote onto the other shelf position mean there will be 4 locations in total therefore 4 orders can be picked
