There is currently a parsing being done to the barcode that is scanned into Locus at pick. The customer would like no parsing to be done on certain SKUs or have a way to receive the exact barcode information that was scanned at pick. As far as I'm aware, there is currently a possible way to do this, but it requires adding a second scan to every pick. It would be incredibly beneficial for this client to receive this raw barcode information from each pick without introducing a second scan to every one.

This would be beneficial for this customer or any that would like to have the ability to view the exact barcode information that was scanned at pick instead of the parsed version. This customer specifically would use this feature to replace specific items with others when needed, but they need to have the original raw barcode to do this. |

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity
The customer would like to have that information on their side because they are able to substitute certain items for others, but in order to do that, they need the exact barcode/SKU that the associates are scanning during a pick through Locus. They are aware this is possible if we add a second scan at each pick, but they would prefer not to implement that process. |
