Use of Voodoo Robotics' "Cloud Display Devices" which use Wifi to communicate and are powered by AAA batteries. These are very low energy and can be easily mounted to end caps with their magnetic strips. Batteries could last ~2 years depending upon usage. These devices can be mounted on the robots as well to indicate which bin to pick into where bins per mission is high and picking accuracy is important. https://voodoorobotics.com/using-cloud-display-devices/
Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
Sites where number of aisle segment is very high and robot density is low (>2,000 sq. ft. per bot), the main issue for associates is to find a robot. This results in high dwell times and/or abandoned robots and thus reducing our UPH numbers. Sites where pick accuracy is important, these devices can be mounted on the robot shelves to indicate pick location. |

Quantify the problem/opportunity
DHL-ASOS Union City is a perfect example. Few other prospect sites have large aisle counts which could benefit from this functionality. Finding a robot is key in these large sites. Alphabroder has pick accuracy issues. |

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity

VF just asked about for this type of functionality
Will look into this option Harsh and come back to you, don't love the idea of adding more infrastructure to the site and the cost is not insignificant. Thanks for sharing.
