Currently using Zebra DS2278 (scan 2D wireless with auto or manual scan) it can be used as a manual or fix scanner (with stand) depending if it is shelves scanning or carton they need to open to pick the parts

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
Customer is asking for hand held scanner as an accessory on bot's because they do not want a glove for hygiene reason. Locus do not currently have a solution excepting ProGlove which is not acceptable for the customer. |

Quantify the problem/opportunity
This is new application which could be duplicate with different site/customers to prepare kits for assembly line. LV customer has already experience with Locus in wharehouse and is motivated to adress manufacturing site with Locus solution. |

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity
We need hand held scanner because they have to scan the location before picking the item. Also ergonomy requires agility to pick very small pieces at location (accessories for bags manufacturing) which is not compliant wearing a glove (ProGlove) |
