Run the LocusOne server on virtual hardware. For non-picking and non-system directed applications (use cases) the benefits of LocusOne could be realized, without having to install and maintain the boxes.

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
For point to point, sortation, and other non-integrated deployments, it would be nice to be able to get the benefits of the LocusOne WEP without having to install the servers. |

Quantify the problem/opportunity
non-picking and non-WMS driven applications are saddled with the burden of adding expensive servers onsite, and all the customer-IT hoops that come with it, and the financial liability of maintianing it... but customers would like to see the data that is provided by the system |

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity
customers would enjoy the benefits of the LocusOne platform, but it woudl be nice for all concened if it didn't require hardware onsite, if there wasn't a technical reason for having hardware onsite (as is the case when you want to the warehouse to keep operating and picking things, even if the internet connection goes down) |
