Vector platooning or Vector cooperation for larger, heavier payloads

A behavior to enable two or more Vectors to join togetehr to perform tasks. One robot would become the primary and the other(s) would be the secondary bots. For example, one would be the leader and would take goals from whatever system is handing out goals and the follower would have its behavior be defined by its proximity to the lead bot.

An example of a use case would be moving rolls of carpet, paper, or lengths of pipe.

Another example is the case of Ikea, where they use long, narrow, metal, reusable "pallets" that they use for picking and transportation of orders to customers and stores. Once the oversized items are delivered, the "pallets" are broken down and transported back to the warehouse for reuse. See attached photos.

The attached videos show an example of an optical based proof of concept. Patrick Hussey has also indicated that a Bluetooth based approach might also work.

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved

Some payloads are too big or heavy for one Vector but not so big as to require a Max, or maybe the space is too narrow to accomodate a Max

Quantify the problem/opportunity

warehouses with large or heavy things

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity

Some things are big and heavy but are stored or picked in places with narrow aisles
