Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
Currently Locus only can receive lot information available for a given sku at the point of induct. The issue here is that while that bot is out on its mission the available lots will have changed due to replenishment and picking to other bot missions. Now when the bot arrives at the sku location the initial lots available to complete the mission have changed. This will now prevent the bot from excepting any of the provided lots now at the location increasing the amount of exception handling. |

Quantify the problem/opportunity
DHL currently has two opportunities for their end customer Wella where the entire warehouse is lot controlled. This issue will be consistent for both of these opportunities. Current estimate is 15-20 bots per site. DHL Wella is looking to sign by the end of October 2022 with a go live of Jan 4th 2023. |

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity
Dynamic uploads of what lots are available at the time of picking is currently being performed today, in current state. Manhattan and DHL are concerned that without dynamic updating at the time of pick exception handling will dramatically increase. |
