Locus will need to get putwall and slot status from BG and evaluate discrete orderjobs in the pool to create batch totes. Each mission will be entirely dropped off at a putwall. Locus will the communicate pick status and tote LPNs to the client WMS.
Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
The prospect is looking for a solution for its high volume, low units per order operation, batch picking in a large tote by reducing the pick stops (combining like SKUs belonging to different orders) will result in lower number of bots. BG putwall will sort and consolidate these orders before packout. |

Batch picking is attractive for prospects with very high volume in a considerably tight pick space. Discrete picking here would mean high robot counts & densities. |

For the BG solution to work, Locus can create batch totes by selecting like SKUs from different orderjobs. Result will be lower number of "effective" lines picked, and higher units per "effective" line. |
