Virtual Reality/ 3D model to help clients/ our internal teams to envisage change/ changes - pre and post deployment

Explore the use of virtual reality to create a clients site/ an area of their site to demonstrate what it would look like with Locus in-place. This could be useful for:

  • Overall layout of the facility

  • Key areas of the site like induct/ drop off seeing how flow would work

  • Identifying potential problems with flow before they occur

  • Getting key decision makers on-board with the solution by seeing it in one of tehir oiwn sheds

  • Improving deployments by having all parties on the same page through a shared 'view' of the future state

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved

Clients often struggle to see these things in their OWN operation:

  • envisage change and thus prepare their teams adequately for implementing Locus

  • Have preconceived ideas of how Locus will work/ need to work

  • Ask for things that haven't been fully thought through

This can lead to a host of problems:

  • Churn

  • Very resource intensive site for client and locus

  • Clients never truly realizing the potential of the Locus solution

  • Prolonged sales cycle to bring people on the journey

Quantify the problem/opportunity

Would need to be investigated and deep diving - this idea woulnd't solve all problems, but it would be a contributing factor to help.

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity

Difficult to see past CAD drawings and COO/ excel models to see what change actually looks like and be able to play around with what something might look like/ work without impacting the operation.
