Dimension multis orders based on liquid cube to optimize shelf utilization (specially for Vector + cart)

When the WMS send Locus the pick details including cube, to be able to calculate the total liquid cube of the order and then suggest the appropriate LPN type to assign the appropriate space within the cart (e.g. LPN for full cart and nothing else can be inducted vs LPN for 1 shelf and then additional orders can be inducted).

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved

When dealing with big retail orders, specially with Vector with cart, the process can be to pick directly to the cart shelf so that the full cart is managed at packing.
Having the ability to calculate the total cube of the order, can help us understand if one order can fit in 1 shelf, 2, the full cart... This would allow us to optimize the usage of the cart avoiding:
1. inducting too many orders per cart causing frequent "cart full", what in turn complicates the consolidation of the completed order.
2. sending out only 1 order per mission to avoid the issue above and then in turn receive many carts half empty at the packing tables. This approach also requires more robots and carts.

Quantify the problem/opportunity

This feature can reduce the number of carts and robots needed for the overall operation, potentially making a business case positive from negative.

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity

Orders ranging from 20 liters liquid cube to 1 pallet cube (1,190 liters) with all options in-between.
