1 - More robust hand scanning device (e.g., TC53 with Origin)
2 - More durable attachments for the ProGlove
3 - Automatic pair between user and bot within the ProGlove flow
Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
Founder's Sports has reported many issues with the ProGloves. They process a very high volume of units each day that are not marked with a SKU barcode, thus requiring a scan of the location to confirm the correct pick. Their complaints have been around the attachments to the device itself (apparently the first version of the pulley system was less prone to breaking than the current version). Complaints have also included that the ProGlove itself is not very robust and is also prone to breaking. They also have indicated that the pairing to the bot scanning process is cumbersome, time consuming, and does not always work correctly. With the volume of picks, they could gain a lot of productivity if we could pair with the bot as we do with the Bluetooth badges. Founder's is consolidating 6 Distribution Centers into 1 DC over the next 8 months and this should be a big expansion opportunity for us with them. |

Quantify the problem/opportunity
I need context here to understand how many ProGloves and attachments we have replaced for them. But, the Founder's Sports team indicated that they actually investigated a different solution (other than Locus) for this reason alone. Everything else is working well for them, but us only offering the ProGlove as a scanner has been an issue. They mentioned that a real hand scanner would be preferred. |

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity
When using the ProGlove to process so many picks per day, the attachments and the device itself have been prone to breaking. They also require several scans to pair with the bot, versus the seamless Bluetooth tag sync that other sites are able to work with. |
