As per previous Origin suggestion (see Boots request from 2022/23) a light barrier/break
Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
DHL (UK) have stated today that they have been tasked with comparing all Chuck/6RS potential projects against Locus Vector. UK team at DHL have rejected the validity of this comparison because Vector (Fixed Shelf) does not have pick to light functionality and therefore pick accuracy cannot be determined. DHL promise customers "single touch processing" and therefore the avoidance of a pick check/QA step in their pick>ship functionality. |
|
Quantify the problem/opportunity
6RS/Chuck presents 99.x% accuracy and DHL UK data confirms this. This is a key differentiator with Locus, and is often a reason to not consider Locus in solution presentations. |
|
What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity
We cannot guarantee any level of pick accuracy and therefore the removal of a pick check/QA step (or 2nd touch) |
