Dome Mirrors in chargers so docked robots can see behind them before undocking.

Locusbots don't have rear-facing sensors, and during development especially, it could be useful to be able to see behind the robot before moving.


Small dome mirrors fould be affixed near or on the chargers so when a robot is docked, when looking at the feed from the robot's cameras, one could see what's happening behind.


(This obviously becomes unnecessary if there are overhead cameras, etc).

    Thank you Nicolas. Robots have global state data to make them aware of other robots behind them during charging, and they make use of it in version 22.0 onwards. We also don't currently do live detection of objects in camera data, because we don't really have the CPU horsepower for it.
