CS and the company as a whole needs a mechanism to retrieve the MAC address for both the NUC and iPad. A centralized repository, accessible by Field, Ops, and SW.
The iPad MAC address is now being captured in LocusNet but requires an update. There is also the issue of only being able to retrieve the MAC address once it is on site. Whitelisted sites would need this information before it gets on site.
The NUC MAC address is being captured in Fleet Admin during the flashing process at HQ. Fleet Admin superseded Tycho, there is a port over of MAC addresses from Tycho to Fleet Admin that is in process.

NUC MAC addresses captured in operations today. iPad's can be with development and changes to the manufacturing process. Origin II resolves this via its hardwired connection to the NUC. Will require "well known" fixed endpoint in the cloud for iPad to communicate with to send MAC address and optionally serial number. Possible bridge solution which could be done during Locus manufacturing process, Lou to confirm (may also enable generating ProGlove pairing barcodes as well). Need a process for field replaced iPads.
