Tote Arrays Compatible with Collapsible Shelving Units

Add an additional reinforced handle to the existing tote arrays, allowing them to be easily pulled out of shelving units without damage. Basic example attached.

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved

The Locus Tote Arrays are not compatible with the current collapsible shelving units, which requires us to maintain two different fleets for putaway and tote array picking. When we have tried using them in tandem, it was difficult for users to reach the tote array handles causing them to rip the arrays.

Quantify the problem/opportunity

As we continue to push putaway, this problem becomes more and more prevolent.

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity

Tote arrays are ~20" wide and are a tight fit in the 20.25" shelf. Expanding to a larger shelf is not always feasible due to navigation concerns.

The current arrays have horizontally placed handles located in the center of the tote array's side. These handles are positioned 8" from the front of the array and cannot be reached.
