Long Dwell Time Report to improve operator performance (preventing FIND MY BOT)

Following a trip to DHL Derby last week, one topic which is a hot one for their operations is long Dwell time and associated resource management.

This is linked to ‘find my bot’ but is an open topic from previous discussions with them. They are looking for a report to identify and report on “all bots with long dwell time”. This would be an exception report showing all bots which have dwelled OVER 15 MINS, with a start time, location, and total duration so we can look to understand processes on ‘lost bots’ or bots missed. I understand we have a cut off in reporting whereby we don’t calculate past 15mins (or so I’m told), but this is looking at exceptions beyond that.

Opportunity to reduce dwell time and mission time of bots and increase productivity. if this was pushed to all sites, we can look at reporting on "problem sites" and drive down dwell time with best practice initatives, but also identify which sites really have issues to FIND THEIR BOT

small number of bots, or low staffing volumes to identify bots where flags will not work
