The customer wants to enable AD (Active Directory) authentication for the Locus dashboards. AD is a measure you can use to manage users and applications. When deployed, it will simplify IT administration and enhance the overall security posture of the enterprise.

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved
We are currently in deployment for ITG-Oberding and there IT has request if we can enable Windows AD-Authentication. This is for ITG to keep that well-defined structure on roles and responsibilities and access control measures. |

Quantify the problem/opportunity
I'm raising further question to ITG on the importance/urgency, but they had already asked me today that when we don't have the option yet to enable this, by when it would be available. It is an important topic for their IT. Checking on the Customer Success channel on Slack, Josh confirmed we cannot do it yet and that it might even be on the roadmap already (couldn't find a matching AHA request), but that it is down on the bottom of that list. For now I'll make it as non-urgent, but will request for further feedback from the customer on this. |
