LED Light extended above the bot for ease of finding bots in the work area. Merged

A simple pole that would extend up from the base housing low voltage wire to power a LED light that would be on the same pattern as the indicator lights at the bottom of the bot.

Problem/opportunity trying to be solved

Nike is asking if there is anything that can be done to make locating bots on the floor easier. At the SD1 location in Memphis I have seen that they attach flags to the bots extended up in the air to make seeing bot locations easy, but the flag only provides location and not status. If we were to use an LED light it could be coupled with the light indicators at the bottom of the bot to provide the status information from distance when trying to locate next closest bot for picking/put away etc.

Quantify the problem/opportunity

In many discussions with prospects the question of how associates locate bots comes up. This would be a secondary visual que for associates, and would be very useful at start of shift, after breaks etc. for quickly providing location and status of bots in the field. A low cost simple solution that would satisfy some doubt about associates tracking down and working with the bots.

What is the root cause of the problem/opportunity

Nike has large sites and the square feet/bot ratio is 2,000 - 5,000 sf. this complicates the ability to easily find that next bot - especially coming after breaks of any kind.
